A Boulogne sur Mer et aux environs, quelques endroits sont propices à la lecture de bagues et ces reposoirs sont traditionnellement fréquentés par des Mouettes mélanocéphales et autres laridés. Au total, 11 Mouettes mélanocéphales, 5 Goélands marins, 2 Goélands bruns et 1 Goéland argenté ont été observés au cours d'une petite séance de lecture hier après midi. La plage du Portel, pourtant très favorable, n'a pas été visitée en raison du beau temps qui attire, en cette saison, bon nombre de bipèdes bagués, mais parfumés à la crème solaire !
Le Grand gravelot est toujours nicheur en divers endroits du site portuaire de Boulogne sur Mer et une belle colonie mixte de Goélands argentés/bruns profite de la sécurité offerte par une grande friche entièrement clôturée...
